FRENCH CHÂTEAU
Four Centuries of Royalty, this Château dates back to 1620, a glory period for French art, economy, and architecture. The buildings and gardens were designed and built by King Louis XIV’s most trusted men —Louis de Pontbréant, his royal squire, and André Le Nôtre, his royal architect.
Built along the banks of the Avre River, this property’s canals, moats, ponds, and mature 17th-century trees create a veritable château experience.
Claudia Afshar is proud to be taking part as one of the forefront designers from around the world for the unveiling of the chateau’s ground floor design. Guests will have uncensored access to the chateau’s grounds and chapel as we showcase the 18-month collaboration with selected, global designers and artisans to revive 400 years of royal living, war, arts, and rebirth.
